Terms of Use



Artist/Author/Marianne Sebetti(MS) - the owner of www.mariannesebetti.com and all items sold on this website, art teacher/instructor.

Purchaser -  person who has made a purchase on the MS website through an online payment.

Member - person who has created an account on the MS website.

User - person, member or not, who browses or uses the MS website for any purpose.

Content - data, text, images, graphics, photos, paintings, drawings, artworks, contact information and links or any other information whatsoever that is posted by MS or a member of the website.

Artwork - piece of original work (including prints) that is offered for sale on or sold via the website.

Copyright - protects the original expression of ideas, not the ideas themselves. For more information refer to the information sheets on Artists & CopyrightInfringement, or the Copyright Act 1968. 

Original - primary and original work, as opposed to any copy, reproduction or imitation. Copies and reproductions are not considered original for the purposes of these terms and conditions. Prints (photography and electronically altered works) are available on stone and high-quality paper in limited editions, numbered and signed by the artist. Copyright must belong to the creator of an artwork in order for it to be considered original.



Artworks are unframed unless specified in the description. Prints on stone have a built-in recycled timber frame.


Purchasing art from Marianne Sebetti grants you PERSONAL USE of an original artwork or a print, which means you cannot in any way use the art to gain a profit.

Personal use encompasses but is not limited to: posting of art online (tag the artist where possible: Instagram - @mariannesebetti, Facebook @msebetti). Please discuss with the author personally if you wish to use your art for other PERSONAL uses that do not fall under these categories.

Marianne Sebetti as an artist retains all rights to created artwork. She reserves full commercial and distribution rights on any image she produces: the right to print, post on social media and artist's online galleries, use and sell created art in digital or physical forms and more. The artist reserves the right to use her artwork for advertisement and print sales. Profits won't be shared.

Clients may repost watermarked art at will as long as credit to an author is included and no profit is being made.

The artist does not claim any rights to characters and other intellectual properties used in process of creation.

Every client has possibility to buy full rights to commissioned or purchased artwork. Details will be discussed individually.

Australia Wide:

Prints on stone: items are shipped out within 5-7 working days. AU POST Shipping within Australia will take approximately 5 – 10 working days. For Express Post please email customer service at info@mariannesebetti.com


We use Australia Registered International Post with 15-25 day delivery service. Prices do not include relevant overseas customs duties, foreign taxes or other fees, which may be imposed and this is the responsibility of the customer. Please check with your local customs office for further information.

Pick-up is available. Just email with your inquiry to info@mariannesebetti.com or call +61478765259 to organise pick-up. Note that the studio is located in Melbourne.


If on the rare occasion you receive a damaged piece due to a poor parcel handling, we will happily offer an exchange or store credit provided you return it in its original packaging and undamaged.

Store credits and exchanges are only offered with original receipt within 30 days from the date of purchase. We only send out the replacement item or store credit once we receive the "faulty" item.

The goods are your responsibility until they reach our studio. Please ensure you pack the return safely to prevent any damage to the item.

Please note that all pieces are handmade or printed through a provider so may vary slightly to the image online.



By ordering a commission you agree to these terms.

Artist reserves the right to not accept your commission order.

Artist has the right to alter the terms of service at any time. New rules will not apply retroactively and won't influence orders started on older terms.


Each price is tailored to fit an individual commission depending on the complexity (subject, style, materials, scale) of an artwork. If you wish to get a quote - please contact the artist via email info@mariannesebetti.com.

Quotes can be requested at any moment and are viable up to 2 months.

Commission description should contain visual reference and brief description. Poetry and prose are accepted as reference material.

Style: as an art commissioner you must have chosen Marianne Sebetti's art because you enjoy it for what it is. Marianne does not adjust her style for commissions.

Any changes outside of initial project and quote must be discussed and additionally approved. Changes may be individually charged depending on their complexity.

If order involves multiple people, all communication with the artist should be handled by single representative elected privately by said group. In situations where payment is made by different person than ordering client - all updates and communication will be handled with the representative [usually the person the quote was given to].

Please be prepared for possibility of waiting for another opening to get your commission in.


Payments for commissions can be made via Debit Transfer.

All invoices are due within 7 days from the date of issue, unless agreed otherwise.

All payments should be fulfilled upfront.

Full refunds are available only before commencing the work on the project. If a commission is being cancelled during actual creation process refunds will be calculated depending on done progress.


Once the artist has received payment a rough sketch of your commission will be sent out for your approval. You will need to review and approve the rough sketch before proceeding to the final design.

The working schedule will not be shared.

Deadline, if desired, must be communicated and agreed upon before initial quote. Deadlines affect the price and can be refused.

Work-in-progress updates may or may not be shared.

Revisions, final edits and adjustments are always welcome, but not included in initial quote. They may be charged depending on complexity.

Any additional work outside of initial project and quote will be charged accordingly.

Additional services like live streams, time lapse videos and similar are currently unavailable.


Important Information about booking events. Please review this information carefully before making your booking. 

All classes are run by Marianne Sebetti.

Our Art Workshops are all designed for all levels.

Most materials are provided in the class, you may be asked to bring your own apron or else (this will be specified in your confirmation email). In most cases you just need to turn up with a smile and a willingness to have fun while you learn. Tea, coffee and snacks are provided (lunch not provided).


All bookings are subject to available places.

Your booking is not confirmed until full payment has been made for the class(-es) and until you have received a personal confirmation email upon agreeing on the date and time with the artist over email or phone.

All payments are made via direct deposit into our bank account. Please email us to info@mariannesebetti.com for details. Please note that you do not need a PayPal account to pay via PayPal, just use credit card option at PayPal checkout.

For group bookings (4 people and more) at your location use Group Inquiries tab in navigation. It is advisable to host such events at: another location or your preferred location. Due to the studio size the number of participants is limited to 3 people per class. We may accept 4 participants to attend a class, however this will have to be discussed with the artist.


We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule classes where required. In the event of cancellation by us you will receive a full refund.

If you wish to cancel your booking into an art class then you need to give a minimum of two weeks' notice prior to the workshop. If you are unable to attend a class you have booked into inside the two weeks you may still transfer your booking to another class, however it is subject to availability. If you cancel your booking within one week of a class or fail to attend, then we are unable to provide a refund or reschedule of class.


Full details for the workshop you have booked into will be sent to you via email.

Painting workshops can result in paint getting on clothing and personal items. We advise you to wear old clothes to all workshops. We take no responsibility for damages due incurred at classes. Your personal items are your responsibility.

Please note if you wish to take your painting with you at the end of the class: you will be coming home from the workshop with a wet painting. Please ensure you have planned for how you will transport your painting home. We will be able to store your wet paintings at our studio until they are ready for pick-up.


You are welcome to take photos of your painting progress throughout the day. Please note that the teacher may take photos during the class. These photos may or may not be used for marketing purposes including (but not limited to) use in websites, social media, blogs, advertising, print media and more. If you do not wish to be in photos from the class or give your consent for your images to be used for marketing purposes, then it is your responsibility to inform your teacher at the start of the class. Failure to notify your teacher will mean your acceptance of these terms.

By booking into an art class on our website you are accepting these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them.
